The Summer SCOT Meeting takes place on Friday 8/9/2017 at Dunblane Hydro. The Guest Lecture is by Rhidian Morgan-Jones on the subject of “The Infected Knee Replacement”. There will be updates from the Scottish Arthroplasty Project, along with Registrar free papers.

Abstracts are invited for the Winter SCOT Meeting from Scottish Orthopaedic Trainees. Normally approximately 15 papers are accepted and the presenters will be sponsored to attend the whole Meeting. Those not selected may attend the Meeting on the Friday and Saturday if they wish, but will not be able to stay overnight.
Abstracts should be structured as per the instructions below and should not exceed 250 words. Please ensure you submit your abstracts by Friday 21st October 2016to Kimberley Moore Ede, Secretary to Professor Simpson.

The Innaugural STOTS Meeting and Dinner took place on 1 September 2016 at Dunblane Hydro Hotel. It was attended by 60 trainees from throughout Scotland (more than double what was expected). STOTS Programme 2016.
In future it is planned to expand this to recognise the significant achievement of ST8 trainees completing their rotations, along with the award of the “Silver Sgian Dubh” to the Scottish Trainer of the Year.
The date of the Winter SCOT Meeting 2017 has been released. It is a week later than normal:
